Mission Statement
Our mission is to improve the physical and emotional lives of community dwelling seniors and their loved ones and to support the work of select non-profit organizations working to transform lives and communities.
About Us
Meaningful Mobility is a private physical therapy practice founded, owned, and operated by Ms. Heather Carrillo DPT, ATC, CSCS. Heather has multiple years of experience working as a Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in various settings to include hospitals and homes. She has spent her entire professional career as a PT working with adults and seniors with disabilities to include stroke, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain, and spinal cord injury. While it is Ms. Carrillo's business to make physical therapy and fitness related house calls, she strongly believes she has a moral and ethical reponsibility to assist potential patients and clients in making informed decisions about their available options for physical therapy and fitness. | | Ms. Heather Carrillo graduated Summa cum Laude from San Diego State University with a B.S. in Kinesiology. She went on to graduate from the Univeristy of Southern California with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Upon graduating from USC, she assumed the role of Director of Health, Wellness, & Fitness at Challenge Center in La Mesa. Heather continues to work for Challenge Center providing physical therapy to individuals with permanent, neurology related disabilities. Heather is a Licensed Physical Therapist, a Certified Athletic Trainer, and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. |
